Rotløs is an exploration of roots that grow in more than one place.

Moving between photography, landscape, and personal history, the project begins with migration, but gradually turns toward nature as a different language of belonging. It asks whether rootlessness belongs to the landscape at all, or whether it is a story humans have learned to tell themselves.

In forests, rivers, and shifting ground, nothing appears to question its place. Perhaps belonging is less about where we come from than about the quiet ways we become part of a place over time.
